Fees and Insurance

As a solo therapist in private practice, I would like to take a moment to discuss payment options and pricing for my counseling services.

My rate for individual counseling sessions is $110 per 55 Minute sessions, and payment is due at the time of service. I understand that therapy can be a significant financial commitment, and I strive to keep my fees affordable and competitive within the local market.

I believe that everyone should have access to quality mental health care, and I have decided to keep my fees low to make therapy more accessible to all who may need it. Paying out of pocket is the preferred payment option, as it gives clients greater control over their treatment plan and greater confidentiality and privacy, as the personal and medical information shared during therapy sessions is not disclosed to insurance providers.

However, I am also in-network with the following insurance providers: Anthem (Not Blue Cross Blue Shield), Cigna, Southern California Kaiser, and United Health Care/Optum. If you have insurance with one of these providers, you may be able to use your insurance benefits to cover some or all of the cost of therapy. Before beginning therapy, I encourage you to check with your insurance provider to determine your specific coverage and benefits.

I want to emphasize that the choice of payment option is entirely up to you. I am committed to working with each client to determine the best course of action for their unique situation. If you have any questions or concerns about payment options, please do not hesitate to contact me.
